I am supposed to Share and discuss this course. Well, I am taking on-line classes at the University of South Florida. I like to learn but the posting part gets to be a little annoying. I want to INTERACT with people and writing a reply days after the fact that they've posted makes me feel like I'm wasting my time. But that's how we're graded on class participation. I'm not big on sharing my feelings on-line.
To make it simple for folks to understand: (And only Trek fans will probably understand)
Sharing on line to me is like what Tribbles are to Klingons.

Week 6
I took a look at the sites suggested. I liked Library Thing and What should I read next but my favorite was Shelfari just because I like the graphics! I'm not one who likes to "share" myself with the general public so I couldn't find a strong need for that aspect but I liked keeping track of my own books, especially if I'm reading a series and I need to know if I've already read that volume or not.

Cat or Dog?!!
I found this Blogthing. (Yep, that's what it is called!) Take the test and find out which pet you most behave like.

Week 4 - Finally!
I feel like I'm moving slowly through this but I AM MOVING!! (Good for me!)
I watched the 2.0 video. It was a rush of information like a tidal wave! But well done. I was not surprised to see the library on YouTube or MySpace since there are so many techno-savy people at OCLS.
The sites I liked from SEOmoz were Lulu, ThinkFree and Writeboard, the last being my favorite. I love letter writing and it could be useful.
ThinkFree would be good for a small business.

lumbering along
Ok, I have gone into Bloglines and I ended up with LOTS of RSS feeds. I also went to GROK and I searched "grok" because I remember the word from a Sci-Fic book I read a long time ago. (Check it out! Title: Stranger in a Strange Land) I was so freaked out to see it is actually used today!
Personally, I find all the information to be overwhelming. So much to look at and read and watch.
